Devon Dagworthy is a stylist and designer in New York City. Her designs and much of her styling work are dreamt up from a world seen through rose-colored glasses where the raison d’être is “to make lovely things lovelier”. A bold concoction of vintage nostalgia, a sense of humor and wildly girlish winsomeness creates markedly unique looks that are slightly off the beaten path.

Devon was trained in fashion design and her main love is knitwear believing that the challenge to make a garment from a single length of yarn, and the freedom to create your own fabric in the process, is perhaps the most liberating experience a designer can hope for.

Devon grew up in an artistic and tactile family. Her mother, a couturier-turned-fashion stylist, would offer a needle and thread to cure a spell of childhood boredom, and her grandmother was an unintentional pioneer of DIY-fashions, seldom wearing a garment as it was intended to be worn from a store. These two women gave Devon a strong basis in both technique and creativity that is seen in her close attention to detail, yet playful and witty designs.
